PanAm Golf

Pace of Play

  1. PLAY READY GOLF. It does not matter who is furthest out, if you are ready to hit your shot. HIT IT!!
  2. DROP YOUR PLAYING PARTNER OFF AT THEIR BALL and then proceed to your ball.
  3. When putting on the green, PUTT OUT AND FINISH -  get out of the way of your partners.
  4. If a member of your group is struggling around the green (going back and forth across or needs another club or raking the sand) GO AHEAD AND PUTT OUT DO NOT STAND AROUND WAITING.
  5. PARK THE GOLF CARTS UP BEYOND THE HOLE. EXIT TO THE REAR OF THE HOLE. DO NOT LEAVE CARTS IN FRONT OF GREEN. The players behind you can play up to the green.
  6. WHEN IT IS YOUR TURN TO PLAY BE READY. Take as many practice swings as you want, check distances and dawdle with your routine BUT DO IT WHILE YOUR PLAYING PARTNERS ARE HITTING THEIR SHOTS OR THE GROUP IN FRONT OF YOU ARE HITTING OR PUTTING OUT. BE READY WHEN IT IS YOUR TURN.
  7. KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP IN FRONT OF YOU; don’t worry about the group behind you.
  8. Play fast
